The oga.Logistics solution allows us to have a complete, detailed and real-time view of our operation, helping to ensure not only an excellent planning as offered by the Planning Module, but also an excellent execution, reacting to unforeseen events in the most efficient way and maintaining an unbeatable level of control and communication with transport suppliers, drivers or end customers.
This can be achieved in two optional and potentially complementary ways:
Among the oga.Logistics services that we can optionally activate is that of incorporating the sensorization of all our vehicles with plug&play telemetry and geolocation devices connected to the OB2 port, without the need for any additional installation or configuration, which in minutes will begin to report vehicle data, driving patterns, speeds, routes, locations, etc., with the security of being able to limit data recording times to working hours, generate specific alerts, etc.
The oga.Logistics team has the capabilities and experience to assist in the identification, management and resolution of all commitments associated with the legal and labor components of activating this service.
oga.Logistics provides drivers or carriers with a digital solution, accessible without installing any app and from any smartphone or device connected to the Internet, from which you can view daily all the planned route with all the details (data of each delivery/pickup, estimated departure/arrival times, specific order of delivery/pickup, etc.) and structured and presented in a simple, clean and friendly way so that you can report each milestone of your activity, even attaching evidence of delivery/pickup, photos, comments, etc., attaching the geolocation associated with each milestone reported along with the corresponding time-stamp.
oga.Logistics is fed with known historical or daily learned data both from the whole operation and from each node (point of interest) related to operation times (loading, unloading, cleaning, waiting, trailer exchange, etc.) or operation speeds and uses them to feed back to the optimization engine models to obtain the best results.
From all the data captured from the tracking devices and/or from the digital routing after each run, a set of specifically developed algorithms extract from all this data all the relevant information for the optimization models working on oga.Logistics, inferring information that will be useful to feed these models (such as, for example, the stopping times in each delivery/pickup depending on the number of packages or the weight to be loaded/unloaded, or the average speed in each type of travel section, etc.) and thus iteratively improve the generated schedules, always ensuring maximum adherence to our operational reality, and always achieving maximum feasibility and maximum realism on excellent schedules, with maximum efficiency and profitability.
All the information about routes, stops, trips, speeds, times and other details of our fleet can be visualized in real time on a complete control panel in which we can customize proactive alerts associated to specific vehicles, activity zones, times, schedules, etc.
In the same way, we will be able to use this control panel to visualize retrospectively data, routes, stops, trips, times, etc. of the past activity of any vehicle registered in the following days or weeks.
The view on a detailed map of our area of activity of the entire operation is undoubtedly a very relevant help. The Map Engine of the oga.Logistics Control Module offers us the visualization of all the routes executed or in execution on intuitive maps, with relevant aggregated data, the possibility of filtering and activating/selecting levels of detailed information, with the possibility of consulting, for each point of activity in the operation, all the relevant associated information (node, origin, destination, departure and arrival times, loading/unloading units, etc.).
The comparison between the planning data and the data reported on the Control Module will allow us to have alerts (to customers or to our management teams) and to report in advance possible delays or changes in delivery or collection times for certain customers.
Complementary to the Planning Module, if tracking and control services are activated, the oga.Logistics Control Module’s Metrics Engine offers, for each specific planning or for the selected aggregate planning period, four main groups of metrics or indicators:
All the required visibility on operational data (vehicles, distances, times, packages, deliveries/collections, stops, speeds…), in more than 30 indicators that will offer us the best daily picture of detail of our operation.
Critical control indicators: total cost of our daily operation, (which can be broken down by route, by supplier, by area…) and profitability of that operation, always under the definition of profitability that our business needs to manage. Once again, fully customisable.
Each daily run will give us a clear, accurate and numerical picture of the associated service levels in OB (deliveries) or IB (collections) tasks that we have achieved.
oga.Logistics helps us in a clear way in these objectives, from the daily information, on each planning delivered by the solution, of the carbon footprint generated by the operation executed, and will allow us to measure and control this important derivative of our organisation.
Having daily, real-time, accurate and reliable access to all operational, service, economic and sustainability details of our operation enables a new management model, allowing access to functionalities and capabilities that would otherwise be unthinkable.
oga.Logistics offers the possibility, if we have tracking and control services activated, to have an additional billing service to our transport/distribution suppliers, applying for each of them, or even differentiating by area, service center, plant or associated process, the cost structure in force, with total flexibility to update or modify it at any time.
Our suppliers, as well as our management team, will receive daily the subtotal of each completed day for review and monthly a self-invoice will be issued associated with the actual services incurred, supported by all the data evidence recorded in our system and that will always be available for any review or audit or control exercise.
The automation, with full reliability and accuracy, of such a critical and repetitive process offers us a new management model based on data, freeing management and administrative resources and entering fully into the new paradigm offered by oga.Logistics.
