The global launch of the Handbook of Heuristics will take place on Thursday, January 22nd, 2026, at 7:30 p.m. at the Hotel Giralda Center in Seville, with the participation of the editor-in-chief, Dr. Rafael Martí; co-editor Dr. Mauricio Resende; as well as representatives from Springer publishing firm and several of its co-authors, global leaders in applied research on these techniques with such a broad industrial impact.

OGA is organising a new edition of the OGA Grupo CÁTEDRA Congress, the company’s Technology Advisory Council, on January 21, 22 and 23, 2026 in Seville, with the attendance of international researchers in Artificial Intelligence and Operational Research, the presentation of the second edition of the global reference manual, Handbook of Heuristics, and OGATHON 4.0 as the main highlights.

OGA has successfully renewed its certification as a Family-Responsible Company (efr), achieving once again the highest rating: EXCELLENT A, this time under the updated criteria of Standard 1000-5 Edition 3, in force since September 2023.

The second edition of the ‘Handbook of Heuristics’, published by the renowned publisher Springer, includes a chapter dedicated to the innovative applications of OGA in the field of heuristics.

The third edition of OGA’s Artificial Intelligence, Operational Research, and Software Engineering challenge rewards young talents in an intense day at the Campus Sevilla of Universidad Loyola.

OGA at the forum ‘Ethical and regulatory challenges of AI in journalism’, organized by El Confidencial, in collaboration with Universidad Rey Juan Carlos (URJC) and the URJC-OGA Chair in Artificial Intelligence and Sustainable Development.

OGA participates in the IV Cluster Meeting, organized by Andalucía Aerospace, together with Railway Innovation Hub and Clúster Marítimo Naval de Cádiz, under the theme ‘Cybersecurity as an industrial challenge for innovation’. Juan Carlos Rubio, CEO of OGA, co-presented the session ‘Cybersecurity vs AI’, contributing his experience and knowledge together with Samuel de Tomás, Cyber Detect & Respond Director at Deloitte, highlighting the importance of integrating cybersecurity and Artificial Intelligence to ensure a safe and efficient digital transformation.

OGA organizes the third edition of OGATHON, an exciting challenge of Artificial Intelligence, Operations Research and Software Engineering, on April 26th, 2025 at the Campus Sevilla of Loyola University. Registration is open.

Juan Carlos Rubio, CEO of OGA, participated in the discussion panel ‘Public funding in the application of Artificial Intelligence in the industrial process’, reaffirming OGA’s commitment to real technology transfer.
